Shadows is meant to mean Ninja, or the dark undead in this case. Its like the Lord of Cinder mode shit the bosses in Dark Souls 3 have. In Shadows Die Twice, the bosses all have like multiple live, so you have to kill them twice. Basically. Lol. sometimes more and also Sekiro/Okami has two lives. Like a cat. Whtevr.

Canonically, I think the hero also dies twice and so does like every main human character. Including the reused bosses, like Owl Twice. The Blazing Bull/Sakura Bull. The game just has a lot of duality. Sekiro, the sculptor, and the dragon are all missing an arm. The Lone Shadows dont use one arm, except for special attacks...... a LOT like Sekiro. Etc. So its a theme. Like a running gag. Because Berserk and other reasons. The arm is awesome.

I totally get the jungle vibes from Sekijo/Orangutan. Anyone remember the teaser? When they announced it? Awesome
