| RaidenGarai 10/24/21 6:20:50 PM #21: | No. Im very active in the Halloween fandom on Twitter and YouTube, and people there seem to feel that Laurie is the only thing that matters in Halloween. Not Dr. Loomis, not even Michael, just Laurie. She was fine in the first two movies even if she didnt really do much. If you really look at Halloween 1978, there were multiple instances (I believe I counted 4) where she should have been easily killed, but Michael magically forgot what he was doing and started missing wide open kills on her. If Michael goes after her in the same way he did Annie, Bob, or Lynda, shes toast. In Halloween 2 she just whined and limped around the hospital until she suddenly became a perfect shot and took out both of Michaels eyes and Dr. Loomis saved the day. To me personally, Im tired of Laurie Strode, and cant wait to see where the franchise goes after Ends when shes no longer involved. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
