Summoner is getting an absolutely absurd rework in Endwalker. It's entire flow and fundemantals as a job will be different. Before it was a class that had big janky summoning phases between low impact damage over time faces, it didn't really feel like a Summoner. It was also one of the most complicated classes to master, even if it was casually pretty straightforward.
