The moment in her heart she began to believe in the boogeyman, looking out that glass door, recollecting the nights events in her mind, is the moment he appeared from the shadows like a wrecking ball shattering glass. Slash after slash and roll the credits. I loved it. From so many different perspectives too.
I like that part. I suppose I actually have an issue with pacing at the end. I wanted to see a longer, more brutal beat down leading into a surprise gradual comeback massacre. I imagine Michael taking several more killing blows like a curb stomp or bullet to the eye hole... only to keep getting back up to kill more angry mob until Tommy dies and the remaining townsfolk disperse.
On first watch I remember wondering if Karen and the mob dying was a dream or if Michael gained supernatural powers.
