Nearly everything they struggle with in the South is self inflicted the south isnt better than any other places and touting regional tribalism is fucking pathetic yet so many of them are just trained to do exactly that the south has plenty of schools, libraries, and free access to commerce and government services. Theres a wealth of culture and charity abound. There arent a lot of people dying of malnutrition in the US South. Yet the things destroying the south nowadays are simply rampant drug and alcohol abuse, diabetes, and concentrated cat piss attitudes towards anyone that is different than them in any way. In general they have a dramatically over inflated collective ego. I know these things to be true because its exactly the kind of shit they tried to indoctrinate me with when I was a kid growing of in North Georgia and Tennessee. Im lucky that I was able to live in some other places before adulthood otherwise Id probably be some far right moron. All the schools, all the churches, they are just endlessly bombarded with that southern pride horse dook if people in the south want the place to be better then that has to start with them stopping the whole cultural blame game about whose fault it is that they lost a war and now they just kinda suck, and they need to have a better attitude about America and start voting in a way that actually helps people --- my resting temp can easily be in the 90's -Krazy_Kirby <cite>Mead posted [p:959014968] in The Summer...
