Osric Stark was made Lord Commander at age 10 and served for 60 years. Jaime Lannister went to war, was knighted after fighting the Smiling Knight and saving a bunch of people, and then raised to the Kingsguard at age 15. He was 17 when he killed Aerys and became the Kingslayer.
