If you're sharing a Switch with her, it probably isn't worth it for either of you. Your niece would probably love the game on her own though.

We don't share Switches.

If you think you'd enjoy a game where the objective is just to run around a small island, gather raw materials, build tools like a fishing rod or bug catching net, try to fill your fish and bug catching journals, sell them for money to expand and decorate your house, all while building relationships with your animal neighbours, then go for it.

I like the Sims so should like something like this.

The only Switch game I've played longer is Breath of the Wild, which had a three year headstart.

Currently playing that now. That is also my first Zelda game although I only bought a switch a few months ago so I have many game I'd want to try on the system.
