I'm sorry, but I think it's time we all stopped lying to ourselves on this one. Western animation, or AMERICAN animation as what is usually contextually emphasized, has NOTHING on Japanese animation. You just ain't going to find the level of variation to go from Lucky Star, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gundam, Death Note, Monster, & Cowboy Bebop within American animation, unless you include things like the DCAU & premium stuff like Netflix/Amazon originals. The rest of American animation is either kids stuff or another Simpsons clone, when it comes to adult animation. --- Remember kids, it's only an RPG until someone gets hit with a meteor; Then it's a JRPG!
