So we all know that Amazon wants to make company cities.

And the news keeps treating this as a good idea. Or at least not a horrifying one.

For that reason Im providing you with a history lesson on the Coal Warsa tale of a company town.

You see, in the 1870s and 1880s, companys decided to make company towns.

Now a company town is somewhere where your job controls your job, owns your house, and also owns the stores where you can buy things.

Its all a giant ploy for companys to get back the money they give
