Let's do the math.

At least 12 informants were involved in the plot to kidnap the governor, including the second in command of the group.

Six people have been charged.

That's a 2 to 1 ratio in favor of the FBI, at least. I get that we want to arrest terrorists, and that some of these six could have maybe tried this plot without the coercion of the FBI, but how likely would that be when there are double the informants to people charged in a plot?

The alleged plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer made international headlines last October, when the Department of Justice announced it had charged six men in a kidnapping conspiracy. Five of the defendants Barry Croft, Adam Fox, Daniel Harris, Kaleb Franks, and Brandon Caserta have all pleaded not guilty and have been held without bail since their arrests. A sixth, Ty Garbin, pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate in the case in January.
