Topic	Anime live action movies just fundamentally don't work and I wish they'd stop

I felt it in the manga, but I ended up finishing that, unlike the series which I just sort of got too bored by at the end. If they did adapt it again, I kind of hope they'd shift the focus over to the central characters and only have a couple of the side-off segments. I remember feeling like Monster was all filler while also having no filler.
