I wouldn't say go out of your way to do that but it is ok for them to feel as safe or unsafe as any other student. They should not be singled out. Like Insaid, I dont think hes showing favoritism. I think he wants everyone to feel safe there. But its also true that there are probably more safe spaces available for straight kids. But not as many for LGBT+ kids. Having this as a safe space for everybody is definitely a good thing. Thinking otherwise makes you a bad person SKARDAVNELNATE posted... What a "safe space" does is say you can't be a dick to these specific people. Why do you think he would allow the LGBT+ kids to be dicks to the straight students, while stopping the straight students from being dicks.
