Really I just want something that will look good enough for games and movies. Vizio doesn't make good TVs. Are you concerned with picture? Most people aren't so this TV would be great for them. Go to a store and look at some TVs. The biggest things you want to look for are how the TV handles movement (check for blurs), the black level (is it black or grey?), and how it halo's (check out credits or something light on a dark screen, the smaller the halo = the better the back light control). Get a salesperson to show you some of the best TVs and some of the worst. If you cannot tell a difference, and many cannot, then do not waste the money on something you will not appreciate. Do not feel you have to appreciate picture quality and get a good TV, it isn't necessary to a happy life.
