Trying too hard to gain her approval probably means you're insecure or desperate and that tends to repel women. It also tells her that you're lower in status than her.Oddly that's how courtship is almost always displayed for guys in most media. With them trying way to hard, acting like a complete goofball, and mumbling their words. Which wouldn't be to bad in and of itself if it wasn't always overly exaggerated. While on the flip side self confidence is usually done the same but is shown in a negative light and punished. Something I can't help but wonder if there is a agenda behind......
