I mean, there doesn't need to be. But yes, pretending to care about the homeless so that refugees can also have worse standards of living is a gross stance.

I don't even know what the current settlement situations are but we're talking about people who have been in a new country for a matter of weeks at this point, at most. It's not like they'll never have to get jobs or face the same issues that homeless people face that cause them to be homeless
