It is incumbent upon a party to earn support. If they don't like that immigrants are so repulsed by the GOP, that is entirely the fault of the Republican party's rhetoric and policies. Earn their votes or shut the fuck up. It's obviously not hard to do considering what pittances the Dems present... stop being a bunch of scapegoating cowards and earn their support. Wah wah, why don't the POC immigrants vote for the anti POC immigrant party that blames them for everything that goes wrong in the world in order to justify not doing jack shit to improve anything?! Waaaaaah....

Btw, if someone's response to finding out the opposition is more palatable to certain groups is to try and block those groups from living and participating in society instead of, you know, making themselves more appealing? They instantly justify their reputation as being in direct opposition to the well-being of those people. Naturally the GOP would rather restrict people's freedoms in order to avoid giving up their scapegoats.

In other words, you've got it backwards. I know a not insignificant number of immigrants who would vote Republican if the party wasn't so unbelievably shitty to them specifically. This isn't a Democrat conspiracy; this is the consequence of GOP rhetoric and policy.
