Time to recap a bit on this year! As always, I enjoyed participating in all this, and hats off to Tox and Deo for another smooth year.

This was an interesting year of results for me. With the increase to 30 nominations, I was able to increase the amount of nominations I got into the contest from 3 in VGMC13 and 14 to 4 this year (if only that Ring Ring Ring blunder didn't happen, I'd have 5 lol). If I take an average of the rounds each of my nominations got to, this year is tied with 13 for best performance. What's also nice is that a lot of my supports/support considerations did really well too, with the champion being one of those supports.

I said this in the Discord server at some point, but this set of retirees feels like the best of the three years I've participated in, on average, but at the same time, it doesn't feel like there are as many retirees this year that I really like (though, there's also fewer retirees that I dislike). This first match has also showed me that while I love resurrectedreplayer, it falls a little short of being my favorite champion of the years I've participated in compared to Endeavour. But what's nice about this year and VGMC14's results is that their respective champions were one of my most desired outcomes after the retirees were set in stone. Endeavour managed to surpass Isoleucine and Deoxyribose, and resurrectedreplayer was able to beat Paradise and Id (Purpose) by extremely slim margins. After round 4, Endeavour was my favorite song remaining last year, and after CIEL_N_PROTECTA lost, resurrectedreplayer was my favorite song remaining this year (and also second favorite remaining after round 4). So I'm really happy that in both years, the results came out the way they did.
