The only reason that Trump was president, and the only reason the electoral college exists, is because American politics is a sham. With one exception, the Republican party has lost the popular vote in every election over the past three decades. Yet, we've had multiple Republican presidents. Why? Because the elections are rigged. A man like Trump can get 40% of the vote and become president because the same financial backers own both political parties and the electoral college.

And those people have buyers remorse when it comes to Trump.

A president isn't supposed to rock the boat. They're supposed to maintain the status quo. The people who run this country thought they could pacify the billionaire by letting him play president for a few years. When they saw how uncontrollable he was, they decided to pull the plug on him getting reelected.

A Republican will be president within the next four to eight years, but it won't be Trump.
