Well, yeah. But when it's a woman staying in a toxic relationship w/ a psychotic man, society sympathizes with her and wants to help her. Depp got twitter mob brigaded and canceled for it. I was never a fan of his (or a hater, just...indifferent), but everything I've seen about this fiasco, it seems like he got a really raw deal.
