How much training and testing is there in America to get a gun? Here in the states you can get your temporary drivers license after taking a written test (with a temp license you can drive as long as there is a person with a full license in the passengers seat). To get a full-fledged license you have to pass a driving test. You can take driving courses but most people just get taught by their parent or other family member.
