My entire post above was projected off the idea that they were trying to teach her a lesson. If she didnt recklessly drive or drive drunk or make any stupid choices, what are they trying to teach her by buying you a car? Thats weird to be honest. The timing is weird I mean. Maybe they couldve waited to get you a car so the sister doesnt feel neglected if she needs it more. But then again my parents (single mom) never bought me any cars. So, lets be realistic on what kind of parenting gets you furthest in life.
