So I was working one of my jobs delivering food when this girl tells me, "You have the most gorgeous eyes." The line "You can have them if like" pops into my head expressing my desire to be hers potentially. The negative association of having my eyes taken from flashes in my mind, and I instead simply say, "Thanks" and smile behind my mask. She says, "you're welcome," and I'm gone.

How do I get better at flirting? That seemed like the perfect opportunity to get a girl. I thought she was kind of cute and was clearly capable of telling me sweet things, yet I totally failed to capitalize on the opportunity. It seems like I'm wasting a lot of opportunities that could bring me happiness.
