Even without messing with it, the amount of random encounters is far lower than the original. The Moguri Mod makes the game look even better. You know, I should really look into that. I've played around with mods on FF7 through 7th Heaven, and with some of them you almost feel like you're playing a different game, like with the New Threat mod for example.
