Another thing about these people is that they tend to be very patriotic and love America. The far left hates that because they tend to hate America as it exists and certainly as it existed in the past. Just look at hockeybub89 and any one of his hourly meltdowns about how shitty America is. To them America is a terribly racist, sexist, homophobic place that discriminates against everyone who isn't a white male. Sometimes they even try to burn it down.
