Again, the narrative could be correct, but if you don't think that there's any politics behind it and just blindly agree with it, you're not thinking critically. I can see where you're going with that, yeah. That said, I feel like going out of your way to prescribe a narrative to something like this, as if it needs a deeper meaning than "people are dying and something needs to be done" feels kinda disingenuous.
