If it wasn't so politicized and people didn't try to shame so hard, I'd definitely take those things into consideration. But it's hard for me to trust a situation where 99.9% of doctors choosing between agreeing with it or losing their livelihood. As for the 2nd part. Yeah, it does happen a lot, but not when you're healthy. It's used when you've already contracted an illness and the fully approved options didn't work. This is different from that. None of that is true. Doctors follow the evidence, thats it. We are able to read the actual studies ourselves and determine whats good and bad.
