| Disengaged 08/03/21 3:22:10 PM #29: | Mellow and near vs light are nowhere near as interesting as L vs light. The issue is exasperated in the anime. If you are looking for them to do some awesome L style takedown you are out of luck. They aren't kidding around when they say they aren't as good as L. They don't win. Not in the anime or manga. Light loses. He absolutely sabatoges himself. However, if you are interested in one of the most epic and spectacular dude who thinks he's so fucking clever but actually isn't self owns in entertainment history, the ending is definitely worth it. --- This is my signature.
