Someone please explain it to me since I don't watch soccer unless it's the Olympics. Edit: I mean why was it a penalty on USA instead of a free kick for Team USA or a Yellow Card on Canada? Watching the replays, looks like a pretty clear foul on the US defender, you can't just kick the shit out of the opposing player's leg and trip them (even if you were aiming for the ball).
