I'll also add, though, that each prince from the royal family has what's called a Guardian Nen Beast. they get it by completing a ritual, and it's basically a Stand. I believe the Prince (used as a gender-neutral term here; several of them are female) can't see their own beast or something?

Anyway, to shift the balance in the succession war, Kurapika revealed the existence of nen to basically everyone involved. he also used the syringe to awaken several peoples' aura nodes.

he's also killed Neon too offscreen to remove her ability from his book.

as far as I know, it's not actually clear that this was done by Hisoka. the Nostrade family has many enemies. it could even potentially have been her father that killed her; as Neon might be considered worthless without the ability.

The rest of the spiders are also on the same ship as the royal family, and they're looking for Hisoka. I believe Illumi has also joined the Troupe too, along with Kalluto.

if I remember correctly, Illumi was actually hired by Hisoka to work with the Phantom Troupeto kill him. Kalluto is actually part of the troupe though
