Honest question. Wouldnt the virus continue to mutate in countries without good access to the vaccine like us? I know we can do better but isnt the evolution of Covid inevitable at this point?

I have already been fully vaccinated.

The vaccine is actually what causes it to mutate to be vaccine resistant.

It might mutate in a place where they are not vaccinated, but it would not be vaccine resistant from that.

Basically, antibiotic resistant bacteria need exposure to antibiotics to gain said resitance.

Fully vaccinated people foregoing mask protection will hasten this form of mutation as breakthrough cases rise.
