Do realize how long you breastfeed for? Its not just the 6 weeks disability you get. After that you can take FMLA but that is unpaid. Breast milk only for 6 months. Then still breast milk along with solids for another year. They arent supposed to get regular milk during that time. It doesnt get them the nutrients they need. If you arent breastfeeding then you have to buy formula which is extremely expensive. My younger kid breastfeed until 2 when I finally cut her off. --- AC - Violet on Penny.
