How would you feel if you were liberal and someone forced you to vote republican or if you were republican and someone forced you to vote liberal? We have to give everyone a chance to be heard for that reason. This is effectively how the system works already. If you're a blue-leaning individual and the majority of your state votes red, your representative vote is red.
