| Tom Clark 07/29/21 12:42:46 PM #29: | To add, I have no problem with Jodie as an actress, she's actually been very good in everything else I've seen her in. She was just horribly mismanaged in Who. The Doctor felt like just part of the ensemble in both her seasons so far rather than the main character (I'd say that Bradley Walsh felt like the lead in Jodie's first season, actually, and in the second - even though they weren't in it much - Sacha Dhawan and Weirdly, for me the time when she was at her Doctoriest, and the only time that she felt like the actual star of the franchise, was when she put on the coat and made a quick video from her bedroom cupboard to reassure all the kids at home who were scared when the pandemic started. She was actually brilliant there. Like Trelve says, she got Colin'd. Here's hoping her Big Finish stuff ends up as good as his. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
