Its because people in general want things that reinforce their existing opinions, not that disprove them.

So PragerU et al,. just take right-wing talking points and make it sound like its the reasonable conclusion to come to if you look at the facts, and their audience doesn't care about checking the facts, they just want someone to tell them they're right.

Its just more common on the right-wing, because there are more right-wing talking points that are pure BS.
