Funnily enough, Stay-Puft's foreshadowing is close to being on-par with the foreshadowing of the ~~Lion-Turtle~~ in Avatar: The Last Airbender - ~~Aang points one out in a book for a split-second, and you can see a few statues of one in the background at Master Piandao's house~~. And people are (rightfully) critical of the ~~Lion-Turtle~~ for this reason.
