| masterpug53 07/28/21 9:50:11 AM #69: | 1NfamousACE_2 posted... saw the stay puft marshmallow men In retrospect, one of my biggest nitpicks with the original was that Mr. Stay Puft wasn't adequately foreshadowed; the bag of marshmallows on Dana's counter doesn't cut it. Even something as simple as a five-to-ten-second commercial with a cartoon Stay Puft playing in Dana or Louis's would have sufficed. As a kid I had no problem accepting it - hell, I probably owned the Stay-Puft plushie before I'd ever watched the movie - but if I'd watched it first as an adult I probably would've been 'uh, where the hell did that thing come from?' Point being, those little Stay Pufts were not only cool in their own right, but also kinda fixed the above issue, at least in the context of this new movie.
