| The Popo 07/27/21 3:34:30 PM #15: | Like 8 years ago, I went with a group of guys to a Wolverines game at Michigan as part of a bachelor party. To my surprise, everything at the concessions has a price that either ends in $.00 or $.50, and all cent change was done with half dollars. It was probably the first time Id seen one in over a decade. Neat idea. Keeps transactions simple, and the half dollar felt like a novelty. Shotgunnova posted... I once got a half-penny as change from McDonald's. When I was in high school, I worked at a grocery store as a cashier. Someone paid with a $2 bill at one point, so I had it in my register. As the day went on, I ran low on singles, and asked a manager to rebalance my register. Before it could be done, I ran out of singles, and I tried to give a customer change with the $2 bill. The person raged on me for trying to rip them off with fake money.
