If you think about this logically, you can draw that conclusion that the smaller the mass of the athlete, the easier it is for her to stay balanced and centered, giving her more fluid movements when it comes to acceleration, propulsion, jumping, leaping and landing than someone who is taller giving a shorter person an actual competitive advantage over anyone taller than them. It's like the rule in boxing where the longer the reach or your arm, the more you can work your opponent from outside his reach.
