I was in a seven year relationship with someone who found another guy and moved on, glacially, over the course of an additional year before moving out. Her methods were pure torture, but the actual breakup was not. She was getting bored and flighty and was terrified of commitment and as seven years of living together was leading to me probing the subjects only a bare minimum, it freaked her out and she hooked up with some poly dude.
