You're just telling on yourself by constantly repeating that, completely ignoring the increasing usage in media and advertising, the corporate world, and many other things. Your anecdotal experience in your small bubble is meaningless. I doubt you even talk to many people with your anger issues. Many of us don't like this label the way it's growing in use, especially by profit driven assholes and white people. It's fine if people themselves want to identify as that. But the "Hispanic community" or "Latino community" in the past now regularly becoming the "Latinx community" will have people feel it's imposing no matter the intention.
