I've been begging him to get vaccinated, but he refuses because the vaccine is "experimental" (a favorite buzzword of anti-vax propaganda, ugh). When I tell him his chance of dying from the disease is literally 1,000,000x greater than dying from vaccine side effects, he just tells me he'll take his chances and that he "has to die some day anyway". It's maddening that you'd only apply that stupid fatalistic outlook to the disease that's already killed 600,000+ americans, but not to the imagined dangers of the vaccine.
