Topic	How would you describe Southern Californians vs the rest of the world?

I feel like people here openly ask "so what do you do?" in the first 2 minutes of a conversation and judge your worth based on your occupation. So I started to lie here and there because I'm...sort of insecure. Sometimes I'm a script writer, or a coding geek trying to build his start up. Other times I'm a professional GO player (pick a game westerners are unfamiliar with so they can't fact check you). Everybody then starts to want a piece of you.
