I'm sure there are some exceptions, but no you have a misconception if you think everyone is just begging to sell you a gun as soon as you leave the airport. Correct, you're handed 2 handguns and an assault rifle upon landing. Common misconception that you have to wait until you leave the airport. You do have to buy ammo though that's where they make the big bucks --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all.
