Because DC and Marvel are complaining constantly about how manga and anime are destroying them. An old writer for DC even wrote an article about why he thinks that is the case now and that his children and his children's friends all read manga and not a single one of them care about Marvel or DC. The only difference is he wasn't bitter about it like the rest of the people from Marvel and DC are.
