There's this weird facet of transphobia, and we see it plenty, but we don't often address it directly.

When we talk about "being passable", when we talk about "not being attracted to trans people", when people say "I'd be able to recognize a trans person."

And I feel this particular facet is asking one question, and that question is:

"If you had to transition, why didn't you transition into a hot person?"

Y'know, along the lines of "When I think of surgery that changes you, I think of cosmetic surgery to become more pretty. If you're going to go through all of that, at the very least you could try to become someone I'd want to fuck."
