I would love to have a federal job and not get tested for marijuana. Wanna make sure Im not smacked out on OC? Sure. Wanna make sure Im not on meth? No problem. Ill take a breathalyzer every time I clock in or out and not complain one time.
The US Postal service, for example, should NOT test for it. Who cares if the guy sorting your mail smoked some pot last night to help him unwind and sleep? Until they can test to see if you are high at the exact time as the test, they need to stop testing for it. It just pisses me off that you can legally find work as a pill junky, but pot users are openly and gleefully discriminated against.
Public sector is a different matter. Some state and local municipalities don't test for it anymore in legal states, but yeah not going to happen for federal workers while the dinosaurs like Biden still run things. ---
