Keep irrelevant or divisive posts out of a particular sub (rather than a bandwagon disagree button that idiots use to validiate their insecurities in a pointless mob circlejerk that doesn't actually bolster their "points" at all), then why do I constantly see folks arbitrarily downvoting relevant, non-offensive comments that are identical in nature to each other? The differing content shouldn't matter if it's relevant to the sub, right?

Reddit is such a toxic, circlejerking echo chamber. I mean this place is too, but at least there's no dislike button, so people have to actually engage. This should be mainstream.
