Also It takes me one day out of the week to prepare this mega meal for myself. Maybe an hour and a half of prep time and I can just get 2-3 episodes of a Netflix show watched during that time so no mental labor there. If someone is having money issues and is needing to work two jobs, prepping your own meals is definitely contributing to helping budget your money. Eating out is almost always more costly then eating at home. Its the cost of labor plus the need to make a profit. Even if we are to take things like dollar menus into the equation, lets be honest, dollar menus hardly ever offer anything for just a dollar anymore. The most cost effective meal if you are really struggling is ramen @ .38c a package, less if you buy it bundled. But I shudder to think of someones diet who only subsists off of ramen, or fast food burgers and fries for that matter. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
