So he absolutely has durability and should easily be able to hold his own against others in an actual fight, even if he prefers to avoid that. It's just so strange to see him hurt and struggling against a random Roxxcart trucker on Earth, and apparently human strength guards on Lamentis. If they were going to buff his powerset, they shouldn't have had those scenes the way they were. Should've been Sylvie herself that beat him up before the reveal, and at least a couple huge looking guards to toss him out of the train.
