Freedom of Speech, 1st Amendment. Its their right as an American to represent America and disrespect it at the same time. Why should they show respect to the country that constantly disrespects them? Seriously they shouldnt just stop at just turning their backs while the anthem plays, they should also sit down and stick the middle finger towards the flag.
